![]() This was for a small gathering at an Alice in Wonderland Exhibit in Moscow. Necklaces: Moss Marchen for the shorter gold sacred heart collar, and My inspiration for the longer embroidery Russian Style necklace. ![]() This was from a day at the Winter Palace in St. Necklace (which sadly I left a piece of in the gardens!): Voodroodolly ![]() They showed me the Peterhof gardens! I finally got to wear my i do declare dress, which I originally got for the gothic and lolita festival but it had been way too hot in Moscow to wear such a heavy velvet piece. I posted a few already from events, but here are the more daily outfits. Here are a bunch of outfits I wore on my holiday the last few weeks. ![]() It is really getting colder and colder in Sweden now, but I hope to be able to post every month until the end of the year! Salopette, beret and bag: Angelic Pretty, cardigan/shoes: BABY, blouse: Wonder Rocket, stockings: Swimmer I really love the fabric and the print, but I was very surprised at how short it is. This was my first time wearing my Little Bear's Cafe salopette. So, basicly I just had to see how it would look with lolita.ĭress: BABY, socks: Innocent World, shoes/bag: Emily Temple Cute On to more every-day coordinates~ I had purchased the beret in an antique store a day before this picture was taken. Again, this is not really something I would wear on a casual day out, but it was lots of fun creating this coordinate!ĭress, socks and many of the accesories are from Angelic Pretty, blouse is Metamorphose, shoes are from Liz Lisa. So in the morning I randomly came up with the thought of making a lolita coordinate with Sentimental Circus as a theme (since I really love San-X Sentimental Circus characters). A bit gothic-church-holy-nun theme I guess? XDĭress: Alice and the Pirates, bonnet: BABY, socks/blouse: Innocent worldĭay 2 of Comic Con! I was planning to wear a kimono, but it rained so I had to change my plans asap. I didn't really have a plan for this outfit, but I like how it turned out. Since it's a comic convention I wanted to dress up in something a bit different from the lolita style I would wear on a normal day. This was my outfit for day 1 at Comic Con, held for the first time in Malmö - Sweden. “I recall certain moments, let us call them icebergs in paradise, when after having had my fill of her –after fabulous, insane exertions that left me limp and azure-barred–I would gather her in my arms with, at last, a mute moan of human tenderness (her skin glistening in the neon light coming from the paved court through the slits in the blind, her soot-black lashes matted, her grave gray eyes more vacant than ever–for all the world a little patient still in the confusion of a drug after a major operation)–and the tenderness would deepen to shame and despair, and I would lull and rock my lone light Lolita in my marble arms, and moan in her warm hair, and caress her at random and mutely ask her blessing, and at the peak of this human agonized selfless tenderness (with my soul actually hanging around her naked body and ready to repent), all at once, ironically, horribly, lust would swell again–and 'oh, no,' Lolita would say with a sigh to heaven, and the next moment the tenderness and the azure–all would be shattered. The dress and socks are Innocent World, headbow is from BABY, shoes are from Angelic Pretty and the bag is Axes Femme. We could prefer not to have known at all our neighbor, the retired hot-dog stand operator, if it turns out he has just produced the greatest book of poetry his age has seen.” Any deviation in the fates we have ordained would strike us as not only anomalous but unethical. We have it all arranged in our minds, and the less often we see a particular person, the more satisfying it is to check how obediently he conforms to our notion of him every time we hear of him. Under no circumstances can Z ever betray us. Thus X will never compose the immortal music that would clash with the second-rate symphonies he has accustomed us to. Whatever evolution this or that popular character has gone through between the book covers, his fate is fixed in our minds, and, similarly, we expect our friends to follow this or that logical and conventional pattern we have fixed for them. “I have often noticed that we are inclined to endow our friends with the stability of type that literary characters acquire in the reader's mind.
